Laser therapy is becoming increasingly relevant in modern medicine and is widely used not only for treating various diseases but also in the management of hair loss.
At DeaMed Clinic, laser therapy is actively applied in trichology for the treatment of androgenic alopecia.
LLLT (Low-Level Laser Therapy) is a low-intensity laser therapy, known in medical circles as photobiomodulation therapy. Since 2007, LLLT has been officially recognized as an effective and safe treatment method for androgenetic alopecia.
In recent years, experience at DeaMed Clinic has also shown its remarkable effectiveness in treating inflammatory conditions of the scalp.
The Capillus laser at DeaMed Clinic is one of the leading devices in LLLT therapy. Capillus has long earned the trust of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS) as well as leading dermatologists and trichologists in the USA.
Every year, the number of satisfied patients treated with Capillus LLLT continues to grow.
How does the laser stimulate hair growth?
The Capillus laser uses 650 nm red light, which penetrates the hair follicle and stimulates hair growth.
When the laser helmet is turned on, the scalp is illuminated by infrared light, initiating a process of photobiomodulation in the follicular papilla cells. These cells respond with biostimulation, which promotes healthy hair growth.
The Capillus laser not only stimulates new, healthy hair growth but also reactivates dormant follicles.
For androgenetic alopecia and various inflammatory scalp conditions, Capillus therapy is carried out 3 times a week for 12–15 minutes.
At DeaMed Clinic, Capillus LLLT is prescribed both as a standalone procedure and in combination with medical or injection-based therapies.
